Greetings from Cape May. We're in a slip, it's blowing 25-30 out of the west. Dawn and Spencer Howe are with us.

We left Portsmouth, RI on the 4th of Oct., made it to Newport. Then had battery problems. Missed our weather window and had to wait till the 9th to leave again.

Then weather predicted a change of course to go thru NYC. We went down the East River last Sunday. After stop at Sandy Hook, NJ, we had a lovely 75 mile reach to Atlantic City. Arrived about 8:30 in the dark, had dinner and then off to the casino. It was deserted, but I stuck around long enough to get my fix (plus about $35.) Enough to take us out to lunch. Next AM, heard on news about previous day's anthrax scares in casino. All false (I assume).

We had a long day's sail to Cape May yesterday. Hopefully heading offshore to Norfolk tomorrow.
