Happy New Year,

It was great to hear from so many during the holidays - by phone (cell on boat- 401-241-7367), e-mail (janerice22@aol.com), and snail mail. Living address same in Warren, but mail must now go to: for both Ken and me, if sending to RI

Ken is in Marathon on the boat - temp 80 degrees today. I flew to RI last Tues (after the blizzard- temp -5 degrees) to take care of some frozen pipes and the aftermath, and fly back tomorrow. This is my first time in snow in 5 years, a rude awakening.

Marathon is great, as always. Ken works constantly on boat projects- after his 4 mile walk to the beach each AM. I walk 3 miles every AM with the girls, then chores til noon. Ken continues working while I read, shop, play cards, go to pool, or galavanting with the girls. Woman cannot live by work alone. By 5 PM we're ready for cocktails, usually with some or all of the gang in our marina.

Our future plans are: cruising with the Walshes the end of Feb - most likely to Key West: off to the Bahamas to meet up with Ken's daughter and family in the Abacos late March; then possibly heading for RI, by boat, in April. We're still discussing whether to take the boat north, but after 4 hurricanes last summer, Ken doesn't think he could handle another summer like that - even though Conquest was fine hauled out in Ft Lauderdale.
