We are
in Georgetown, SC and took a slip for some R&R from our long voyage. They
have free wireless here so took the opportunity to say hi. We're at mile marker 403, which puts us at approx 2/3 the
distance to Norfolk. Should be there in 2-3 weeks. Ken
PS Ken turns 65 tomorrow. He's old!!!!

Hi
Spence, Four days later and we are still holed up in Hampton, VA. We left the
marina today after lots of $ and anchored in the tiny Hampton harbor and voila
free wireless internet so thought I would send you a note. We finally have a
possible window for tomorrow, 10 to 15 from the NW. If it really pans out to be
NW, we'll be underway in the am. Sorry we were unable to get you aboard but
hopefully we will connect up with you guys sometime this summer.

Hi
Spence; We finally made it and took slip at South Jersey Marina (they have free
wireless!) Made the 150 mile trip in 24 hours, arriving here 7 am Thurs morning. Had a small leak from the raw
water pump on the engine which I thought could wait until RI for repair, but it had developed into a
much larger leak when we got here so had to hold up f or a replacement pump.
Had one shipped up from Portsmouth, VA, which is where we had just come from,
and just completed the installation, so we are now good to go after 4 days at
the marina, the loss of many $ and the Chinese left handed monkey exercise in
the engine room! See what you missed!
