Jane and I took off on the boat for the keys on Dec 10th. We made it to Miami when she got a call from her mother to return to RI. We spent a couple days at Dinner Key Marina, then she took off and I took on a friend for crew and continued on the cruise. First day we made 80 miles to channel five, arriving there just after sunset. Suddenly, as you might expect the sea became infested with crab pots. While working the foredeck with the spotlight, I managed to somehow finish off my rite shoulder (tore rotator cuff in three places). But we made it to Marathon next day; my new-found crew at he helm and your captain making a profound friendship with a bottle of Jack. At any rate, to make a long story short, Conquest is in Marathon, and I am back in PSL recovering from shoulder surgery.
