Between launch and landing of several Space Shuttle flights, we visited the Florida Keys for SCUBA diving. There is a coral barrier reef several miles south of the Florida Keys for their entire 100 some odd mile length. There may not be as good visibility as the Caribbean, but it is the good ol' U. S. of A., and in our experience, the things found there are every bit as interesting as anywhere else,
especially the fins because they are not over-fished as they are elsewhere.
