We
dared the impending war, and took my mother on her first trip to Europe.
We made a quick 2 day stop in Paris.
We packed a lot in, even one of the regal castles:
Fontainebleau
with its double horseshoe staircase.
Then on to Roma!
Piazza Navona
We visited one of the oldest and most interesting castles I've ever seen. The defenses are clearly visible in the
Castel St. Angelo
Of course, there's always an obligation to do some shopping.
Florida Everglades

We
loved
last year's kayak adventure
so much that we did it again. As before, the trip was organized through the
Marshfield Recreation Department
.
We saw no alligators, but had to be careful of the Nedigators
